1723 Woods Hibernia Half Penny

    Then there is the classic Darby O'Gill and the Little People coin, well that's what I've always called it. :) A Woods Hibernia Half Penny in F condition I'd say.

    Ben,I have got one of these coins.I have also got a Farthing as well.This coin is sometimes classified as being an American coin,as this coin was rejected in Ireland.William Wood was the mintmaster who also struck the famous Rosa Americana coins for British America.I haven't yet been offered one of those historically interesting coins.
