I got 4 of these old slugs. 3 are slightly larger than 1. Sorry I can help ya out with wieghts and measures. The smaller coin has a reeded edge kinda rope syle. the larger of the coins have a smooth edge by design or beaten down with time. They are non magnetic. Brass/Bronze ? My Dad has emm marked as 1709's but I can say for sure where he got that from.
Well the 1st scans looks to be a Cartwheel Penny or two Penny piece cant realy tell without the size of the coins or weight and as for the second they look to be either a 1/2 penny or 1p of dear old mad king George as you say 3 are larger then I would guess the smaller is the 1/2p not worth a lot in that condition, it also helps if you show both sides De Orc :kewl: on second look the pics look like you are only showjing 2 coins?
yes thats right there are only 2 coins here. the smaller one and the slightly larger one. the other 2 that I did not show are both of the larger size and even worse condition. The smaller coin is just bigger than a kennedy Half dollar OHHH bout eye ballin it 3/8 of an inch.?
