Agreed. Cannot read that myself, but it can be found on many coins from those years. The latter also applies to the motto above (Sub umbra alarum tuarum; from a psalm - Under the shadow of your wings). Künker just auctioned a Hamburg piece with the same motto/Jehova/city view combination; image link only as is it kind of OT here. Of course that is not the kind of money that people would use in regular transactions. Christian
