I checked out your link and unless i missed something i didnt read anything that tells me its fake other than the replicas are stamped with "copy" and mine clearly does not have copy on it

Right in the middle picture, under the image that says "replicas of new england coinage". Its a perfect match. Doesnt have to say copy for it to be a fake :wacky:

    100% fake.

Also, check the rim for the word "Becker" -- another word for 'fake'.

Prior to the Hobby Protection Act of 1973, there was no law that stated replicas had to have COPY stamped on them. In fact, thousands of colonial replicas were sold at US historic sites without COPY stamped on them and I even had some sets from that time. They were quite popular with visitors as were packs of replica colonial currency.

Your piece is unquestionably a replica, which may or may not have been after 1973 and may or may not have been sold at a US historic site.

It's a cast copy, you can see the roughness all over the coin.
