  1. Sure was hard to tell until it came back in a bb. Is the fellow that collects counterfeits still around.

  7. Mintmark altered. I guess I can sell it as a 1916-S VG for a $1.00 but disclose that it looks like a D but really isnt.

  8. Gamblers lose often. Raw rare coins esp uncirculated ones often will be a problem. I think NGC felt sorry for me on the 16-D as they sent back an 80cc and 81cc GSA that I thought were 63s and came back 64 and 65+ respectively.

    Body bag is an expression when a coin comes back from the grader uncapsuled because it is fake. Now days if a coin is cleaned, whizzed, heavily scratched, ect it does get holdered with an adjective grade but no numerical one. PCGS says "Geniune." NGC says "details" not meant to determine value (sic). Untrue.
