Hi All, I'm helping a friend identify a coin or maybe marker he has? From research of the marking Henricvs IIII, I believe it is French. I've placed a scanned image of both sides at http://www.emptyyourgarage.com/coin01.jpg http://www.emptyyourgarage.com/coin02.jpg Any help on identifying it, estimated value, etc. will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Yes, it is a copper jeton or reckoning counter from France. In this case France and Navarre. Sadly, it isn't in particularly brilliant condition and my estimate is that it is worth between $2 - $5 . A reference for it is Feuardent # 11851 Hope that helps, Ian
