500 years later, I finally graduated from college and took a 2 month tour of Europe to visit family and sight. Misplaced the photo album so I'll just show a few coins. Nothing from 1986, but a few from 1486. A coin from Nijmegen. Levinson III-161 A coin from Liege. Levinson II=90a
This is a Kortling from Gottingen. This is a Pfennig from Graz. When my parents escaped Hungary in 1956, they were in a refugee camp near Graz. In 1964 our family visited Graz. I visited again in 1973. My wifes and my health permitting, I would like to go back to Europe and visit some of the towns that issued pre 1501 A.D. dated coins. If any of you have coins that have family memories tied to them, please post them. The last two images, John, aka @messydesk, created for me along with 50 others at the most recent ANA in Rosemont, Il. As you can see , he did a most excellent job. Thanks John!!
