The ATM fed me 11 sequential $20 crisp star notes today. 2004 C3 EC11908201 through EC11908211 Common? Any value over $20 each?
That's pretty interesting. Who knows if there is a prenium on it. It must be a complete sheet that got replaced, and hence the batch.
Nesvt, getting 11 consecutively numbered star notes is an extremely rare occurrance.I'd either keep them,or put them on Ebay as a full lot.Who knows, you will probably get some interest. Aidan.
This happened to me once. Except I was across the street from the coin and currency expo in Denver. Took in my two $20 stars and sold them for $28 each. I then went back across the street to the 7-11 and pull out another $60 and you guessed it, more star notes!:thumb: So I sold those too. I made $40. The amount I had planned to spend that day anyway! Here is the breakdown for your stars by serial number EC 000 00001 * - EC 032 00000 * dc n 3,200,000 1 EC 032 00001 * - EC 035 20000 * dc s 320,000 2 EC 064 00001 * - EC 067 20000 * dc s 320,000 3 EC 096 00001 * - EC 128 00000 * dc n 3,200,000 4 So this district has 7,040,000 total stars printed. So even if you made $5 over face on Ebay you're looking at what $55. Not too shabby eh? Just my opinion, I'd sell them. Michael
Got a run of 4 consecutive $1 star notes from my local Wawa a couple weeks ago. Not worthv selling on Ebay, but keepers for sure.
Is there really a premium over face for new $20 stars?? I got a series 1999 $20 BG 00945798* the other day while shopping. I put it aside as a keeper, but is it worth more than $20 at all???
