    He's in Maryland, around B'more, an area rich with history over several hundred years, so he must have found a shallow crossing over a creek/river that was high traffic.
    My guess would be somewhere on the Patapsco River, maybe around Ellicott City.

    Each coin is the relic of a previous owner's significant loss. It would almost be a crime to disperse the hoard; it's a time-traveling documentary of the Human Condition.

    Anyway, congrats to the treasure hunter - you are an icon of your hobby.

  13. Me too! It was so badly scratched that you couldn't see any of the details. It was a Zinclon though.
