Hi all. I went to the casino yesterday, and when I went to cash out my tickets, I got 3 crisp hundreds from a cashout machine. One is a star note and says 2003. The notes that came with it both had different serial numbers not even close to each other. I'm not a currency collector. Do people collect these things? I just thought it looked kinda neat, but I don't plan on keeping it. Serial #DL 03280987. No folds or marks on it or anything. Looks off-center top to bottom. Have fun! -Jeff
At 960,000 printed, this is the least common of the D series $100's. If it's in AU condition or better, I'm guessing it's worth keeping, but may take awhile to appreciate beyond face.
Okay, thanks gatzdon. If anyone wants it I will sell it for face in the open section. Not trying to sell it in this currency forum. Just thinkin' somebody might have some interest. PM me if necessary. That seemed really wierd to me to get 3 crisp bills that aren't even near each other in sequence...wonder where the casino got these older bills in this condition....
2003 isnt all that old I would throw up a thread inthe open section. i have bought alot of notes at face there. but $100 at this time is way to steep for me to carry!
