I got five bucks worth of Canadian one cent coins at the bank today and found lots of recent cents in MS-65+ condition, a few from the forties, fifties, and sixties, two 2009 cents, and one 1950 wheat cent. I was very surprised to see a US wheatie hiding in my Canadian rolls, I hear it's hard enough to find wheats in US rolls! And the two 2009's were a nice plus.

    Here are some pics...

    2009 around MS-67, it's a beauty!

On the Canadian cent, what does the K-6 stand for?

Great looking coin, by the way! :thumb:

K-G is for George E. Kruger-Gray who designed the one cent, five cent, and ten cent coins in 1935.

Just figured out that it was K-G and not K-6 as I just pulled a 1976 Canadian cent from my bag... :goof:

    Thanks for the info!!! :thumb:
