I just saw this on the news, cant find an article and pics yet.
A ten year old boy from Iowa was charged after he used his printer to print approximately $1200 in 1's, 10's and 20's at least. He was caught after he used a crisp 20 to pay for 5 of his friends lunch. He didn't say how much he printed or how long he's been doing this.

wow, there were pics on, and it looks totally real, unless held to a light. I guess this would be possible asides from, lol, microprinting, watermark, paper texture, etc.

Whethether or ont it looks real... wouldn't people quickly notice it doesn't feel like real money? Normal printer/copier paper doesn't remotely resemble the paper US money is printed on. Maybe people just weren't paying close attention... wonder how many he passed off before getting caught?

No, Scnuss. It was a 10 year old boy. I dont know where the Year old went in the thread title.

Troodon, apparently he had his parents buy special paper that was closer in texture to the bill than regular paper, for a 'school project.' And btw, in the conclusion, they said he'd had the printer + special paper for 2 years. The police found 1200 in his room.
