Back on 3-26 i posted a thread,weird lincoln,about a penny that looked like it was wrapped in foil,as it has a folded metal edge on both sides,just inside the rim,,well sometimes,you dont see things right in front of you,lol,,i just noticed it is smaller than a normal penny,but the same size as a dime,,i have pics here of the reverse side,and then the observe side,next to my 2001 lincoln with a hugh die chip on it,which shows how much smaller it is by looking at how abe fills up the coin,,,,is my weird lincoln done on a dime blank?,,ill put the picks in the gallery too,if you want,,,
The coin was vandalized. The puffy, expanded design elements are clear evidence of this. No striking error would, or could, produce this appearance.
