Second is a 2012 w $25 American Gold Eagle Proof 1/2 oz coin which has been graded by PCGS as PR70 DCAM First Strike as well. PCGS shows a current population of only 181 PR70's!This is the new king of the standard issue American Gold Eagle proof coins! The 2012 $25 American Gold Eagle Proof has last reported sales of only 3,962 individual coins sold combined with 8,957 4-coin sets leaving a final total mintage of only 12,919 coins minted!
