I have a 1957 series silver certificate. Does anyone know if it’s of any value? Had for a long time. Thank you.

In that shape I doubt it would fetch more than a dollar.

Most dealers sell common date average condition silver certificates for around $1.25.

With paper money condition is everything and yours lacks condition. It's a keeper but you would be fortunate to get anything over a dollar.

I was in a coin shop when a lady came in with some stuff to sell. She was a waitress and one of the things she had was a 1" stack of worn silver certificates. He declined to buy them and advised her just to spend them and make someone's day when they got one in change.
