I found these in my change, I'm not to clear on if theyre worth anything. It seems like if they were all frosted proofs theyd be worth something, but theyre not, so I'm hoping theyre worth more than face value?? They are: 1968-S, 1970-S, 1971-S (x2), 1973-S Picture is not great, they are all about the same condition, 1968-S probably being the best. AND YES, they are all SOLID GOLD! Actually, thats just my bad lighting job, they dont actually look so yellow. If they might actually be worth anything, I'll take a separate pic of each penny and post them, but if they arent worth it, let me know.
Hello dopeuser and welcome to the forum, I think. If your "handle" is intended as a true self-description, I hope you get into rehab soon, before you totally ruin your life. If it's just some kind of a gag, well then, to each his own. You might try posting a closeup of the date on that 1970. In the condition shown it could be worth $10-15 if - and I stress if - it is the "small date" variety, which can't be ascertained from your group picture. Otherwise, you've got a nickle's worth of Lincoln cents there. 1968S - 261,311,507 minted 1970S - 693,192,814 minted 1971S - 528,354,192 minted, and 1973S - 319,937.634 minted. You have 5 of the 1,802,796,147 minted, or .000002% of them.
Thanks for the reply, I'll zoom in and center that 1970 one a bit later, to see if it is a small date variety. And "dope" is/was some early 90's slang, like cool, or fresh, refer to early episodes of Fresh Prince of Bel Air for more examples. And "user" as in "Any individual who interacts with the computer at an application level." Anyways I'll post a better pic in a few hours....
Hey speedy, I think you should reread his post, you missed his joke about his poor lighting job making the coins look like gold lol
