Here is a cent im sure some will be curious about including me. This coin has a rim to rim die break and two different tones like a partial missing clad layer but the biggie is that for all that I can research I have never seen any Canadian coin with a dot in the date. Any Ideas??
The dot is just a dent in the die. The die was obviously pretty shot when this coin was struck, so it's not a big surprise there's other damage to the die besides the huge crack.
That's a Dot and Half a Dot right above it! Looks like a Dot wearing a hat.. Interesting Canadian. Thanks for sharing.
