    Hello,

recently I buy this coin on ebay, but I'm thinking it is fake:

    1. Weight is 4.9 grams - Krause says 5.33
    2. Diameter is 23 mm
    3. it not sound like silver
    4. non magnetic
    5. I paid for him 17$

I'm thinking to return this coin to seller.

    Last time
http://www.cointalk.com/t217939/ I have been right. I return the coin, and seller told me it is fake.
    And now again german states...

    What do you think?

If it fails the ping test, I would return it.

And I wouldn't buy anything that's not slabbed, it's just not worth it anymore. China is pumping out hundreds of thousands of fake talers, dollars and everything in between.

I would not go by the "ping test" these were only .521 silver. It looks right to me, but the weight is a little low. When is the last time your scale was calibrated?

    Looks real to me.

The weight loss is from wear or circulation.

    :)
