    Hi all,

Paper money is not my area of collecting so i need some straight talking advise regarding 2 sheets that i am going to be selling for a friend.
This is not a sales pitch in any way, just a request for information.

    I have been given a roll of $1 & $2 uncut bills, the $1 dated 1981 & the $2 1995.
They are both in excellent condition with a few knocks to the ends from where they have been kept in a tube.
I have done the usual fleabay search for pricing/ value and am still unsure exactly what i should be asking for them, this is were i need the knowledge of the community.

There is no point sitting on them hoping for top $, what i would like is a level of realism & honesty as far as value is concerned.

I have not had chance to spread them out for a proper picture yet, here is a quick snap of part of both sheets.

I will get a full picture done later for those that want to see the whole sheets.
    TIA

They are all modern so don’t expect a lot for them. Check out the BEP website and you’ll see what I mean.

2× face value at least I would think.

I'd ask $50 for the roll of $1 and $100 for the roll of $2. They are kind of fun to have but not worth a whole bunch over face in my opinion.

Recent dated items like this a more of a novelty to many, so they often don't demand much over face value, but you've already done the research so you know that. I would suggest to my friend to post them on eBay and hope two or more people get in a bidding war and jack the price up.

Both sheets appear to have some handling issues, which to some sheet collectors makes them less desirable.

    Thanks for your replies folks.

I have let him know that the value is minimal and explained why.

They are going back to him and i suggested gifting them to a family member or something similar.

    Thanks again for your help.
