Might want to picture the whole coin. More than likely it's wear but if the coin is in good shape it could be a grease filled die. Hard to tell without a full picture. Chris
I would have to hazard a guess of normal wear and tear. If it was grease filled its very minor and wouldn't be much of a premium over 1cent. sorry. Keep looking. You might want to check out the sticky tabs in the error coin section. There is a lot of information about errors and you can read others posts.
