I can't say I like notes as much as I like my Wheats though if I will pick up one every so often. So I have to show you my newest note to my collection, hope you enjoy!
Thanks guys, out of speculation, any value? Also b/c I just found it when I was going through my aunt's money. $100 2003-A star note, in circulated condition w/ a stamp mark of 'First Third Bank" and a crease down the middle, keeper?
Just as a CHCU 1963B L-Star value would be $17 to $20. As a fancy number it would depend on how bad a buyer would want it and if there was opportunity for another potential buyer to bid against it. Then, who knows... If the numbers were 65600656 I would potentially have paid more than $20 by a fair amount. Nice Addition - Congrats! Darryl
Nice Barr-Star-Radar. Star radars are known for both New York & San Francisco districts. No known solid or ladders, and low serials are VERY rare, with only one 2-digit note known for the series. Please let me know if you grow tired of seeing it in your collection.
I think these would be on par with the 1957B Silver certificates, in gem Would have a value of between $15 - $20
