so I received this bill at a store and I thought it was a very weird looking dollar.
I have no idea what to look for on a paper bill so I just want to ask somebody else. Can someone please look at this dollar.
It’s like it has ink smear.
I can see another serial # the two signatures can also be seen on top.
Please help me figure this out.

Looks fake !! the paper quality is really poor

 

The bill is original but with the condition it is in it will only be worth one dollar. On paper money, condition is everything.

Looks like it was folded up in a wallet that got wet. If you fold it in half the long way, the "ghost" images line up with the regular printing on the bill.... The odd diagonal stripes on the back are likely transferred from the lining of the wallet it was in.

 

Any serial number you see is a bleed from moisture from another bill. It's a dollar. I bet even a vending machine will give you a hassle taking it in that condition...

 

When a vending machine won't respect you, you are having a bad day!

 

That Dollar bill needs to be put out of commission due to Deterioration
