    Only released for circulation in Puerto Rico I think - and well after they were made. That would make it almost a hometown note for you.. While they were quite legal in the US, I'd imagine it would raise a few eyebrows at least. A small run as well. One can only speculate why they got printed in the first place - anybody know?

    Edit: Disregard the above, it applies to Series 1928 - should be paying more attention. Still rather unusual compared to the SC though..

    There is a great video on Youtube showing someone discussing a wallet they found at a now, torn-down raceway that was lost sometime in the early 1970's. He opened the wallet to see if he could find someone to contact to return it, and in the billfold section, there were all of these Silver Certificate and Red Seal 1, 2, & 5 dollar bills from before the 70's.
