    Hello
Anyone else here notice a die chip or gouge, I'm not sure what it is on the reverse on the left side of monticello. Any feedback will be appreciated. Would it be worth it to send to coin world?
    Thanks

Are you sure that's an 06?

Don't know that I would send it to Coin World, but you can write and ask them. I agree with your analysis of what it is.

Could be, then again may not be. Only way to find out is to ask. But you can be certain other examples are out there. That's not gonna be the only coin struck by that die.

I purchased a couple bags of nickels this year and I'd estimate 40% of them displayed a die chip in this area but different then yours, farther from the building possibly a weak part of the design. Also some filled letters in monticello and five cents. I don't believe a die chip is worth reporting but is maybe worth holding on to.
