I was wondering what something like this would be worth. I'm not super knowledgeable about bills, but got this a while ago out of an ATM.
A true binary note. Hard to come by. But condition is everything and this note has some problems. Circulated, folds creases, staining (looks like markers used in ATM machines), etc. Best bet for a value would be to check the sold listings on eBay for similar items. Still a nice pick-up!
@Jersey magic man Ebay listings for true binary seems to be around $40-$60. The only thing is mine is kind of... Idk what the term would be. Symmetrical maybe? The sides of the serial are opposite and I wasnt sure if that added value.
Nice circulation find. If I found it, I would keep it. Personally, I don’t see the appeal of binary notes, but some collectors like them. I wouldn’t pay a premium to own the note.
Nice find. I too would hang on to it as a novelty and maybe list it on eBay when I needed some cash. Put it in a collectors currency sleeve and hold on to it.
Nice find, especially at face. To bad C about the condition, folds and magic marker to name a few. But it is a true binary note, 1’s and 0’s. I’d keep it but if you must sell it, maybe $40-$50. It is modern.
The numbers are great, a keeper in any condition but not much in the way of value because most people are looking for pristine notes.
