Dark charcoal color dime looks like maybe a annealed error not sure I ran hot water over it nothing came off so maybe it was in the cooker to long...

On revers the America is covered and also the obverse looks decent and has a nice shine I don't believe a car ran over it looks to clean
The coin looks to be off center it doesn't have a rim
