My photography skills are poor. These pics are more along the lines of what the coin looks like.
I don't know very much about grading but while comparing this coin to the ones on E-bay it's in better shape than what they are calling X-fine....
Here is some better pics of the coin. All opinions are greatly appreciated. Slab it or not? Also can anyone tell me why the rim looks doubled on...
All opinions on grade and value is greatly appreciated.
I'll try to take some more pics and some with the edges.
Thx for the input.
I'm confused now :)
The doubling here isn't flat and shelflike and it has split seriffs.
How do u measure thickness? What if it is a dryer dime that was struck on wrong planchet to begin with? I'm not gonna think about it anymore.
If it is strike doubling why isn't everything doubled?
I'm new to this so please explain to me why everything isn't doubled and only the words. I'm learning.
Very nice coin!!!!
I see some machine doubling but other parts look doubled die. All opinions are greatly appreciated. Thx.
It's a 1972 Deutsche Mark. Doubling can be saw on all words on reverse and also on MM. All info is greatly appreciated. Thx
I am curious to know what causes this and if it's a valuble error? Is it double die? There is also a few spots in his hair. Any info is greatly...
It weighs 1.4 grams. Its 15mm wide. It appears to be a 90% silver but I'm not sure on that. It isn't a clad dime though.
Correction 15 mm or .59 in.
I'll double check it as soon as I get a chance. I may have made a mistake.
It's 19 mm. 24/32 or 3/4 inch. It's getting good now.
I'll get you the width ASAP. I haven't measured it. Interesting though :)
