Whether a coin gets a 69 or 70 depends on if the grader ate his wheaties that morning. (IMHO)
I read where the reason the 3 cent piece was made was because that was the price of postage at the time, don't know if that is true or not.
If you base all of your purchases on what the slab says, I suggest buying the coin and not the slab.

The incused design of this series makes them very hard to grade. Which is why they were not very popular among numistmatist
