Nice find! Those pen marks should fade away in a few weeks. People need to read their pens. It says works on all currency newer than 1959. :rolleyes:
A lot of people keep the 1959 and older nickels. Some dealers will give you more than face value, but not very much.
You can soak those dateless buffalo nickels in vinegar for a few days and the date will slowly and faintly appear.
Here is the 1915 S Lincoln cent I bought last week. What do you think the grade is?

I’m sorry to tell you this but that coin is not an error. Someone put it in a vise with another cent and the design on the other cent was pressed...
