the penny,is a 1959...so i think its all copper,why did it turn silver...
i cleaned the penny with wax,to get off the brown stuffand now it has turned silver.
how can i get it back to the copper color.help needed,how did the oven turn it silver color.

i baked another in the oven last night with the wax on it,and it turned silver?????????
removing wax from copper now that i cleaned one with wax,i can get it off for the penny to tone.how shall i remove it.
we decided not to use the 40,s but the 70s instead,ones that are really dirty.
