I thought I was going to be buying a roll of worn IHC from someone here, but I can no longer seem to get a reply from them. Therefore, I am still...
well, after a break I'm back. Did 5 boxes this week - 2 pennies, 2 nickels, 1 dime. I came out with a few wheat, 3 silver roosevelts, 1 war...
I am looking for very worn IHC. I need a bunch of them for a project. Please let me know what you have, and we can work out a trade (or sale). I...
2075 wheat, 117 silver
439 lol...
That thing bathed in acid for a year! Lol! I love it :) I wish it was in my "damaged" found-in-circulation collection :P
I need very worn/dateless buffalo and V nickels, as well as very worn/dateless indian head and wheat cents. These are for an art project, and the...
Looks like it was hit with something a few times to flatten out the image there. The damage on that side of the back is why I think so... but...
:) Thanks guys. I suppose my first interest, if I do start collecting paper, would probably be the same as back when I first started coin...
Ok, I have read what I could find, and browsed through threads here, but I am still mostly lost. I am a long-time coin collector, but the thought...

Thanks Hobo :) Good to know :P It was really weirding me out... lol.
Lol. I meant that part, too... looks like glue dried on the coin, making a line at the edges of the glue blob. It happens a lot. If it's NOT that,...
I would guess first is indeed a clip, but 2nd looks (from your pics) like glue on the coin. Can you get any better shots of the 2nd one?
A related coin - it has a single, smaller bump on the reverse, but no mark or dent or anything on the obverse. Same problem? [ATTACH][ATTACH][ATTACH]
Ok, what the heck? Seriously - obviously PMD, but what IS it? How did this happen? There is a large bump on each side of the coin, same spot. No...
My immediate reaction is to say PMD, like someone smashed it with something. But I am the LAST one to ask about these things :P I, myself,...
I am mainly looking for coins from the Tokugawa (Edo) period (1601-1867), but also have some interest in Meiji coinage (1868-1912). Mostly...
Looking to start my desired collection of Japanese Isshu, Nishu, Ichibu, and Nibu -gin and -kin.
