Is this a countermark that was stamped into this dollar? If so does anyone know why it was used? Thanks Neilp02
It looks like an authentic piece too me, but I'm not an expert. I think I would get it certified as suggested in earlier post.
I have an 1892 CC Morgan Silver Dollar with the number 13 inscribed on lady liberty's face and other than that it appears to be in VG condition....
