    Bought this 1783 Mexico City, FF 8 Reales on eBay and suspect it is fake due to the weight and edge markings. Any thoughts?

    How can I tell authenticity of Spanish 8 Reales?

    I’m thinking this 1783 Mexico, FF 8 reales is fake but wondering what others think. Weight comes in at 24.81 and some diagonal marks on the edge...
