If I get it, it will need to be conserved. A small price to pay for such a nice coin. Easier to sell down the road.
I saw that. I thought maybe that was left over from some old conservation. BadThad, any ideas?
Nagengast writes "The first S mint nickel since 1954 caused a sensation at its issue, and there was some hording, thus the 68S is common as a BU...
Thanks everyone. You guys helped me make up my mind. Great strike and color. Centered, on a really nice planchet. High end for the grade. I do...
It is under the 1st 7 on the obverse.
Thats true. Collecting nut is right in that it could be conserved. That cost would have to be considered as well. Thanks for the input. Stacks has...
It's on Great Collections this week. 1787 Fugio Cent STATES UNITED, 4 Cinquefoils PCGS XF-45 (Item 1638520) | GreatCollections Coin Auctions [IMG]

I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see this coin in an NGC holder graded MS67 5FS. If that gash on the reverse were on Jeffersons forehead it would...
If that's not wear above the ear, I think NGC would call it a 66.
Nice close-ups of each for grading purposes.
Great report. The show was everything I'd hoped for. Spent the whole day Thursday and blew the show budget on one coin. Something for everyone....
I’m going. It’s only a 3 Hour Drive.
It is and Thanks.
Really nice photography.
