When mine broke the bottom broke out and it ripped up the seam. Yes it is a mess and you spend a lot of time cleaning up coins without the glass.

If you use more than a 10X to view coins you’ll increases your chances of finding an error. The higher the the magnifying you do, the easier it is...

I’ve only cracked out one coin. I wanted to fill the last hole in my folder. It was graded AG-3 so not a big deal to me.
Mine was a thick glass. It has been recycled now.
