Yes, it’s NGC graded MS-63. I bought it raw many years ago from JJ Teaparty, when it was in Boston, from the late Bruce Longyear.
Sharpness grade EF, scratched. I know this probably got a straight grade, but if I had sent it in, I would not have been so lucky.
I have a complete year set from the first edition. So I buy one every year. It’s a “readers set” not a condition census collection.
Until they grade one MS-69.
This 1796 Dime has a Grey Sheet value of $12,000. Which coin would you rather have, this first dime or a 1964 JFK half dollar? [ATTACH] I paid...

I received my set today. It is quite nice. I like to keep them going since I have the run back to 1936. I gave up on the clad sets starting with...
I received my Morgan and Peace Proof dollars very quickly. I am pleased with both. Are they PR-70s? I don’t know, but that’s not why I bought...
I confirmed that this 1836 Henry Clay medalet is the plate piece from DeWitt's book that was published in 1959. The pictures in that book are...
Back in the 1960s and ‘70s, the No Stars Half Dime was a bit of an orphan. “The Red Book” listed it in nice grades, like VF and EF, for way more...
I would say MS-65, Brown.
Unlike many collectors, I like small coins. For most collectors, "bigger is better." That's why most all silver dollars, but most especially the...
Net grade to VF - 20 because if rim damage.
I'd say he's one step away from learning he's been had, but that just my opinion. As a dealer, you learn where you have a market for some coins...
