Conserv is a hydrocarbon liquid similar to (but not the same as) xylene. MS70 is a strong base that will react with the film on coins (sometimes).
Many newbies on here really think that though.

I'm assuming you mean an ultrasonic cleaner. I'm undecided on them. The action can be very disruptive of surfaces (in addition to the "dirt")....
