I didn't even think about it,now you mentioned I agree it does look like a split planchet.But a reverse picture would help alot,why do some errors...
As I stated in the other thread it's a corroded cent,what's it worth?one cent;)it's still a decent 78 year old coin just keep it.
Damaged,looks like a corroded cent not an error and no need for two threads.
I thought it was to long and wide to be from a edge hit. Besides being impacted from an ASE,it's a damaged coin nonetheless though.
