MS 65 before looking at any reveal (if there is one)....looks like one that would get the generic MS 65 but has a PQ look to it
MS 64 (looks like an Anacs holder)...obverse looks stronger than reverse; it has fairly clean fields and cheek (I don't think the hits are strong...
I got the tie breaker :D Missed the grade by one though :(
MS 66 ICG ....looks clean and has nice color
Every person has a different opinion of details coins. I'm perfectly content having some details coins if they still have the eye appeal that I...
Cool notes and thanks for sharing!
I was going to guess MS 66....67 is fair and as @Lehigh96 mentioned people were too rough since NGC is known to give crusty War Nickels 67 grades.
MS 64 ....less chatter than I've seen on some others (plus I'm no longer guessing AU 58 on your threads...meaning the slab will be a 58 this time :D).

AU 53….I’m interpreting some wear and muted luster…still a cool coin!
I’m seeing a slider that could go high AU or low MS; my guess is that the grader saw a touch of wear and so the slab shows AU 58
One more scenario where I've seen early bidding be successful is bullion items. Something like a generic ounce of gold will be tied to the spot...
Been there too! A recent example was a nice coin ending in the afternoon. I get a call from a coworker and that turned into a long conversation....
@Randy Abercrombie I'd recommend editing your post to not reveal what the coin is; most people here won't be looking for it, but it's still best...
Some will say it’s best to wait and put your max at the end while others will just put in a bid and let it ride. I’ve won and lost coins using...
@Hiddendragon and others, feel free to post your own examples on my threads (I don’t mind and enjoy seeing other examples). The first coin you...
It's meant for items under $20 where sellers would normally not use any tracking (just a stamp on an envelope) or not bother to sell such items at...
