A beautiful BU Incomplete Planchet that has 3 curved clips. Looking at the obverse that are located at 4, 7 and 10 o’clock. Very obvious I’d say....
Wear from a worn die caused that.
@Danomite gave you the correct answer. That damaged spot on the obverse was such a hard hit it pushed the reverse out and that caused the reverse...
Registered Mail is the most secure and safest way to send mail. It just takes longer. Why? It’s kept under lock and key and every time it changes...
It sure is a mess but the price was right.

No, I just received it a week ago. Also bought a few other nice error coins.
