No its not a doubled die, ghosting printing issue.
Even if you are just giving it away I think its still required to post in the buy, sell or trade forums only.
all S minted proof and business strike bicentennial quarters were 40% silver.
Just marked it best answer,think I did it;)agreed 100%.
Not silver, proofs,w and s mint marks or errors spend them.
Damaged still 10 cents.
I see circulation hits and scratches all over the coin it looks normal to me.Don't see any doubling by those pictures can you get closer.
I sure wouldn't consider biding on it!!!.
Look at the vertical and horizontal scratches them all in general, this is key to it being damaged also look at the rim to,the flat slope like...
Damaged the coin was ground down still 5 cents.
Silver is silver;).
Digging for worms is so fun!!!:):).
Looks good to me,keep it safe zinc rot can happen very easily.
yes its a uncentered broadstrike.
they all look good to me but for the last one i was thinking of a rim burr rather than a incomplete planchet.
The big black spot on the reverse and the rainbow hue around it doesn't look natural to me.
Looks like roller lines to me,the coin has also been cleaned still 25 cents. Also roller lines are not considered to be errors.
Doesn't match the example on PCGS but it appears to be something, don't know why its not recognized.
