You're right, now that I think about it I'd prefer to have a small bag of XF draped bust dimes over the dollar. Or an equal mix of XF draped...
I would much rather buy a nice MS draped bust dollar at that price.

They look authentic to me, nothing is alarming of a counterfeit. The weight issue is most likely due to wear; Your coins are pretty worn down (G/VG).
