The best way to ship anything via USPS is to use Registered Mail. It takes a little longer and it cost more but it's safer. Next would be to ship...

It's minted on Zinc and that's a problem of it's own. Your coin is MD or mechanical doubling which is very common, especially on zinc. Welcome to CT.

Every coin on this thread was damaged by the environment. None of them are Mint errors.
