Most of the solvent smear notes I’ve seen have been from notes printed in the 1970s and 1980s. My lone example. Pretty dramatic. [ATTACH]

I tend to see them often, in various degrees. Some call it a turned digit, old timers call it a gas pump note.
@Bradley Trotter, what are we seeing on your $10 note, just below Mellon’s signature ? Is that light spot on the note or the sleeve ?
