AU is almost uncirculated. They just show a small amount of wear. I don't recall saying anything about the condition of your coin or grading it....

It's from a worn die. All the doubling I see is NAV doubling.
You are correct that it is damaged. And notbin a dryer. It looks too good for that.

I see no doubling bit so do see wear.
It's all raised so it looks like solder was placed on the coin and then it circulated for a long time causing what you see. It's not a mint error....
Please explain how you think the minting process produced something that looks like that. That is damaged plain and simple.

It's only 25% Nickel with the rest being copper. Any money spent will be a waste of money but I wish you the best.
