Looks like the edge may have been damaged from being in a bezel or an encasement of some sort. Should be more opinions along shortly.
Well they are worth one cent each, unless extremely high grade or an error. You will need to show both sides to be sure.

Any abnormalities in the die would be passed on to every coin struck from that die. That being said, I don't see any errors in these coins.
