I think 8 dollars for a circulated 1907 Barber is incredibly high. $2-$3 if it's not in outstanding condition.
No U.S. coins in 1965 1966 and 1967 had mint marks, although they were produced at all 3 mints. They put the mint marks back starting in 1968.
It is a very nice note, but the serial number adds no value and that bill is not worth $76 to me. I'd go as high as $5.
That's nothing. In Philly, they punch the mint mark into the dies for all 3 mints by hand. So it's not always going to be in the exact same position.

I think you are going to hit a lot of trash. (Storage buildings.) You could hit a diamond in the rough. The detector works in the snow, it just...
It's supposed to rain and snow all day Sunday. So I scrounged this up today. Lower gas costs helped a little. [ATTACH]
Penny on the grill, penny on the shelf. I thought there were 2 reject pennies on the shelf but one is a very cool looking mutilated dime.
If it's a zinc, I'm not sure they are prone to laminations like the copper. Agree on the glue.
Why did you buy it? It just rewards them. Wouldn't it be better if everyone boycotted them, instead of giving them business?
Sorry to bump my own thread. But now that 2019 is here, we can look at some of the hot topics. Off metal errors. Foreign planchet. 1982-D small...
Plated. You can see the copper under it. Not a fake. A real penny that was plated and made into jewelry. Probably the person's birth year.
It doesn't look like copper at all. What Paddy said. You must weigh it.
There is only a D.
That coin has probably been vinegar etched to try to bring up a date. That's why it has a whitish color. Agree with Tommy. The trick is to put in...
It's a penny. It's damaged. It's not an error. It's worth 1 cent. Spend it. If I had to guess I would say 1964-D as it looks like copper.
With the 82, I'm not so sure the date is actually physically bigger. And that it just may be the name for the LD SD varieties. On the 1960 the...
Is Jeff's note a radar/repeater? I think that is still collectible.
This one is metal. Kansas 1938. [ATTACH]
1960 D small date over large date. And if you are including the 1982-D small date copper, then any copper from 1983 and later. Of which more have...
