I've wiped lots of proof Ike, with cotton balls . After taking images of the devices and the side of my fingers hitting the coin from turning it...
None that I've ever wiped with a cotton ball ..

Any raw proof coins I handle and photo . I always take a clean cotton ball and wipe it down . Just to make sure nothing was left on it ...
