Great medal. I had to chuckle a bit at the snippet below -- poor guy! :) The portrait, it is true, is not attractive; but the subject is to...

64 PL
By USA standards, it's AU. By UK standards, it's gEF.
That's not Austrian. It's Czech.
Not doubled -- the text is "outline" style. Here are my two examples of the coin. The 2010 is the lowest mintage of the entire series. I have a...
This topic has been covered extensively in other threads: A horse of course (Oct 2011) For the love of horses (Nov 2012) And another posted...
Absolutely splendid coin. The thing is absolutely hammered, obverse and reverse. Great lovely colors developed over the years (centuries) also. :)
I have a 1603 Thaler in PCGS AU50, but @Zohar444 has a much nicer piece than mine.

I received the exact same (apparently "boiler plate") reply. "New and Improved" often means they are going to completely screw it up!! Leave well...
I'm curious, is there a reason/rationale for why you chose PCGS over NGC for grading CWTs? I'm not a fan of PCGS for grading exonumia, just...
This is a strike issue, not a "wear" issue. From PCGS, I'd guess a grade of MS62 or MS63. Clearly BN, not RB or RD.
Finally pulled the trigger on this 60mm medal this morning. [IMG]
