Maybe I am missing something, but I was unaware that there were any differences on the reverse dies from year to year.
Yes, but I don't think that is what you have. It is more common to see weak/worn die on one side but not the other. I would go ms details -...
I like that one!!!!! Did it grade?
Not a problem!
Would appreciate you checking the 5 MM locations I posted for the 14-D Lincolns are all different particularly #4 and #5.
I missed this somehow. Anyhow, the D is wrong both location and probably shape. IMO, counterfeit
@SuperDave But I have already done the overlay. That is how I determined they were different. I do tht by adjusting the opacity of the top...
@Insider IMO, #4 and #3 are closer than #4 and #5. As for the 09-S VD, there are 4. The picture is not as clear, but it accomplishes its...

And I believe your 4 positions is a "FALSE PREMISE". Problem is, that just accomplished nothing. And other than posting a picture, I cannot...
Let me ask a slightly different question. If my pictures actually show 5 different dies and the professionals say there are only 4, who is right?...
I am not going to get into a ^@^&@ contest with you, but I guarantee you that for a coin with minimal dies, I can absolutely match a smashed worn...
I really do not think you need all of that, but if it floats your boat. As for your comments about "close". See if this sounds better to you....

Hint; I made my pictures 500 pixles from the first 1 to the tail of the 4. All you have to do is crop the image in question align the date...
From my picture, I tried overlaying his original picture. It is too fuzzy to tell for sure, but it comes real close to #4 and #5.
The 2 you picked are obviously not a match. But that proves nothing. There are 4 or 5 different positions for the MM. You have to do the same...
Except if you overlay them, the MM for #5 is slightly higher and to the left of #4.
